carnaby_halliwell@hotmail.comEvery time I look at writing my profile I don’t know what to write.
After all, do I list everything I like? How I spend my time? What people think of me? What I think of myself? Do I try and make it funny? Because that would be even worse then my actual humour!
I love writing (I also love researching, but that I keep more to myself…), and I love playing with words. I play the flute though am currently in-between orchestras. I used to be in a choir and used to reach amazingly high notes and did big choral concerts but at the moment my singing is reduced to a production of Grease (filled with big cheesy numbers…and smiles), but it’s a lot of fun and even my dancing has improved (which many would say is a good thing!)
I’m quite short but my big hair makes up for that and my ‘unique’ dress sense. Though some would say that’s code for bad dress!! However I of course would argue against that…
That’s me ->
ok THAT'S not me, but when I have long hair it looks a lot like me.
This is me ->
I must confess a bit of a posey picture but I like it!
this is a really nice one though : )
I love philosophy, which I am doing at college. It welcomes questioners, as does Judaism. I am also doing English and politics and drama.
English I have always enjoyed, however since GCSE I haven’t found anyone in my class to bounce ideas off, but we’ll see. Maybe among the silence and bored atmosphere in my class there is someone who wants to play word games with me!!
I really enjoy politics and it makes you much more aware of politics in the world (as it should because otherwise we’re even more lost in it).
Drama of course is filled with drama students. Need I say more? But apart from all the coursework we have to do (who knew that drama would have more coursework then English?) I enjoy it and I am slowly getting to test all my different ‘voices’ out on people, which is a lot of fun.
I write poetry and am currently hoping to get published if I extend my collection a little further, and who knows, I may be on the shelves in the next couple of years.
Whenever I go to anyone’s house who has extra channels I always go onto comedy channels and find programmes like will and grace, Frasier, smack the pony, Jasper carrot live and American teen comedy programmes like 'that's so raven'. They're hilarious!
I listen to extremely different kinds of music. I wake up to the sound of current rock, come back to the sound of acoustic and folk, dance to the sound of dance, RnB and Hip hop, get angry to the sound of Linkin park and Garage, and spend evenings out to the opera and The Dresden Dolls, with a bit of J-pop and Hebrew music and joke music in-between such as Big Al Yankovich.
I don’t write every day in this journal and sometimes it’s left for months! But when I write in it, well I guess I write in it and I try and comment as much as I can on others journals. But I always read others, so I’m always watching : P hehe
It is friends only so I suggest commenting if you want me to add you, just incase I don’t see a name under ‘also friend of’ as I don’t check my profile too often.
